The books suit readers from about age 8 up through adults who still love middle grade. A full box includes 1 to 3 novels, in a mix of hardcover and paperback across many genres, along with 3 to 8 bookish and lifestyle items, many of them from small shops or made exclusively for the box. Recent full-size boxes have held two books and eight items, or three books and seven items. There are several versions to choose from: Full Size, Gender Neutral, and a Just the Books option for readers who only want the novels. A Mini box is listed but currently sold out.
