The Single Cask Club Whisky Subscription

The Single Cask Club from The Strong Water Co. is a monthly tasting club for Scotch whisky fans. Each month the company hand-selects two single cask Scotch whiskies and sends them with full tasting notes, so you can explore rare and unusual drams you would rarely find on a store shelf. Membership comes with a few extras. You get virtual tasting notes and 10% off whisky from The Strong Water Co.'s online shop, plus access to a ballot for rare, limited bottles. Subscriptions of 3 months or longer also come with a free nosing glass. This box ships from Scotland, in the United Kingdom, and all orders go out on or around the 15th of each month. UK delivery is free by Royal Mail Tracked 48, but for US addresses shipping is calculated at checkout, so expect an extra charge. The listing does not give a transit time to the US, so allow for an international delivery window rather than a domestic one. The Strong Water Co.'s shipping policy says buyers and gift recipients must be 18 or older, and couriers may ask for ID on delivery; it does not mention a 21+ rule or an adult signature for US orders. You can pay month to month or prepay for 3, 6 or 12 months. It suits whisky drinkers who want to broaden their palate beyond the big brands, and it makes a strong gift for a Scotch lover who already owns the usual bottles.
